Roots of the Feminine: Unearthing Sacred Wisdom at Valaterra

AU$665.00

Join us at Valaterra, a sanctuary nestled in the lush beauty of Kentucky, United States of America, where ancient women’s wisdom comes alive. This is more than a retreat; it’s an opportunity to take responsibility for preserving and embodying the lineage of traditional practices that honour women’s health and vitality.

Over two transformative days, we’ll delve into hands-on techniques and ceremonial practices, deepening our connection to self-care, community resilience, and the sacred feminine. This is a rare and unique chance to learn directly from Sarah, a home birth midwife from Australia with a decade plus-long journey of immersing in global traditions. With experience immersed in teachings in India, Guatemala, Mexico, and Australia, Sarah weaves together the ceremonial, practical, and spiritual aspects of traditional midwifery to create a deeply enriching experience.

Highlights of the Retreat:

  • Day 1: Womb work and yoni steaming, forming relationship with plant allies, fostering collective wisdom and grounding through ancestral practices and ceremony.

  • Day 2: Delve into the art of rebozo and belly binding, explored in harmony with ceremonial cacao and abdominal palpation techniques. Expand your practice supporting women through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Join in shared meals of fresh, seasonal, and nourishing food, this retreat invites you to stay overnight, holding space for collective deepening of your experience and gathering with women sharing wisdom and stories. Together, we will generate magic through connection, learning, and sacred devotion to the feminine.

Valaterra’s tranquil environment provides the perfect backdrop for this experience, where every detail—down to the embrace of nature—supports your journey. This is a space where stories become teachings, and teachings become tools for our sacred devotion to carrying on women’s wisdom.

Come, immerse yourself in the collective power of women, and step into a lineage that honours, preserves, and empowers ancient wisdom.
