In a world that often pulls us away from our instincts, it’s easy to feel disconnected—from our bodies, our cycles, and the wisdom that has guided women for generations. Our rites of passage—first bleed, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and menopause—are powerful transitions, yet they are often met with uncertainty, outside noise, or a lack of true support.
Birth workers, too, carry the weight of holding space for others, sometimes without a strong foundation for themselves.
This 2 day in-person circle offers a space to return to wisdom that is already within you.
Through hands-on experience, storytelling, and time-honoured traditional practices, you’ll learn skills that can support you (and the women you hold) at every stage of womanhood. You’ll leave feeling more confident, rooted, and resourced, able to trust your body and your instincts in a way that ripples into every part of your life.

From attending this 2 day in-person circle, Sarah, experienced home birth midwife and birth worker mentor, will guide you to:
✨ Feel deeply connected to your body and intuition - so you can move through your work and life with more trust, confidence, and ease.
✨ Gain hands-on skills to serve your community - through womb massage, working with plants, belly binding, and rebozo techniques—so you can weave these sacred practices into your care for others (and yourself).
✨ Be held in a circle of like-minded women - so you walk away feeling resourced, supported, and deeply rooted in shared wisdom.
This 2 day circle isn’t just about learning—it’s about
Remembering. You’ll return home with practical skills, a deeper connection to your body, and a renewed sense of trust in your path.
This wisdom is calling to you if:
✨You are a birth worker, midwife, doula, or body worker wanting to deepen your practice and honour ancient traditions.
✨You are a woman seeking to reconnect with the sacred wisdom that resides within your own body, to thrive in your womb health & wellbeing.
✨You feel the call to honour the wisdom of our lineage—to be part of preserving practices that have sustained women for generations.
✨You are ready to take responsibility for your womb health and wellbeing, stepping beyond reliance on the medical system and into practices that restore sovereignty and self-trust.

The womb is more than anatomy—it is the centre of our power, the keeper of cycles, intuition, and deep knowing. Through touch, story, and sacred practice, you’ll be guided to reconnect with this place within you and to tend to it through every season of life—menstruation, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
Alongside this, we will walk with the medicines of the Earth: herbs that nourish and protect, remedies that hold us through transitions, and the ancestral knowledge of how to use them with reverence.
This is more than learning—it is a Responsibility.
To enter this circle is to take your place in the lineage of women who have carried these practices for generations. If we do not learn and hold them well, they risk being forgotten. But when we do, the wisdom of the womb remains alive, vital, and embodied—for ourselves, for the women we support, and for the generations yet to come🌿
Carried by the warmth of ceremonial cacao—gifted to us by the sacred lands and caretakers of Guatemala—we open our hearts into the dance of the weave. The rebozo becomes our teacher: showing us how to hold, rock, and honour the body in pregnancy, in birth, and in healing. Each movement is a thread in the tapestry of women’s care, restoring what the modern world has forgotten.
From here, the cloth weaves us into the art of belly binding. This ancient practice supports alignment, recovery, and balance—not only in the postpartum period but through life’s many transitions. You will leave not just with techniques, but with a felt sense of confidence and reverence for how these tools can support both your own journey and the women you nurture.

✨Event discounts on Rebozos and Fajas—Artisan woven traditional cloths that have long supported women through menstruation, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

She is an experienced home birth midwife who has shared these ancient practices to nearly 1000 women, sharing the knowledge and skills that help birth workers feel confident in their practice while honouring the traditions that came before us.
From the Ceremonial roots of Guatemala and Mexico to the vibrant midwifery practices of India and Australia, Sarah has woven a tapestry of knowledge that bridges ancient traditions with modern understanding. Her teachings are deeply rooted in respect for cultural wisdom, offering birth workers and women alike a space to reconnect with practices that nourish, heal, and empower.
By joining Sarah at Roots of the Feminine, you will step into a lineage of wisdom that has guided women for generations.
